Internationally there is a practice called "Peak Bagging" where the goal is to climb to the top of as many mountains as possible.

Here in New Zealand we have "Hut Bagging" where the objective is to visit as many huts as possible. The rules are simple, you just need to have visited a hut to have "bagged it". Each unique hut visited is another hut bagged.

Hut Bagger NZ is a site where you can record all the huts you've bagged and compare the huts you've bagged against other people.
