Notes
The hut was OK when we found it & still had saw blades hanging on the walls. It was hard to find in the bush behind the saw mill site, which has a pelton wheel, saw blade & fuming supply from a water race up the ridge behind. It is marked on the old series metric topo maps with the water race above. Edit Hut

I spoke with a guy today who confirmed my suspician that this hut is no longer standing. It can be recorded as removed/gone.

This hut may well have collapsed? We found the sawmill remains and some crumpled corrugated iron though no standing hut. I also found a different hut site just under 1km downstream. Hutty and I may go back and have another look as yet another nearby hut site is marked on an old map and we have not checked it out yet.
