Built in 1962-63 by the NZFS as a S70 6-bunk design with an open fire, which was replaced by a woodburner early on. It was completely repainted by volunteers in 2004. It is maintained by the 'exNZFS' cullers group & in November, 2018, members Paul Gush & Derrick Field restored the exterior to its original NZFS orange. March, 2024, saw exNZFS volunteers, Mike Wilkinson & Callum Sutherland replace the rear window. Edit Hut
