The latter was shifted to Doughboy Bay in 2004 to replace the aging 'Doughboy Bay Biv'. March, 2021, saw the hut painted by a DOC ranger & 2 volunteers from the Winton Rotary Club & the chimney flue was replaced too.Location:

Excellent hut, Kiwis under the water tank and deer by the toilet.

Stunning site and hut, possibly my favourite on the circuit. Only downside is notable sandfly ingress through the insect netting which is not fine enough to block sandflies crawling straight through!
