It was firstly a church for the community of gold miners working the Long Valley & Rough Ridge fields. After the gold it became a musterer's hut & it is now preserved by DOC. The only indication of its former use is a low platform at one end (and plaque). It's not intended for overnight stays but there are 2 beds. Edit Hut

Iconic building and location, landscapes like no other and the church still in amazing condition after 150 years. Big sky country indeed.
