An unmarked hut on maps. The sign attached calls it “Tin Hut". It was reportedly established in 1997 but it's not clear by whom. The hut can be found on one of the pest control lines above Korokoro Stream. There is an interesting collection of road signs outside the hut. Inside the hut in buckets under the bunks there are pots and pans, hut slippers. It also has a sheepskin, an Op-shop sleeping bag, detergent in a hand spray bottle, candles and candle holders.
